Story Telling Through Editing
"The essence of cinema is editing. It's the combination of can be extraordinary images of people during emotional moments, or images in a general sense, put together in a kind of alchemy."- Francis Ford Coppola

Editing.
Editing is like making a collage. Only instead of pieces of a magazine you use pieces of film. Figuring out where all the pieces One of my career highlights was when I was taking an Editing for film class at College of DuPage. I had to edit the film Bingo Night which is about an elderly woman who decides to rob a bingo game to stay at her retirement home. I decided to use the clips to create some sort've flashback to show the main character's thought process. As I presented my project, my professor was impressed saying "I have taught this class for years and I have never seen anyone use these clips to make a flashback." To me that was really impactful because I had done something innovative.
I'm proficient in using Filmora 9 and I have a background in Adobe Premiere.
